Money Leak Check

Find the money your shop already earned.

The Six-Leak Check reads whatever you run the shop on: QuickBooks or another bookkeeping app, a job app if you use one, or just your invoices, quotes and customer list. Five business days later you get one page: the leaks the check finds, ranked by what they cost you, with the fix beside each. I change nothing, and you pay nothing up front.

Email Joaquin Tell me your trade and roughly how many invoices are past 30 days. A ballpark is fine.

How it works

  1. Day 1

You show me what you use

QuickBooks or another bookkeeping app, a job app like Jobber or Housecall Pro if you have one, and your Google profile. No software? Your invoices, quotes and customer list work too, in any form. I change nothing.

  2. Day 5

    One ranked page

Six leaks, ranked by what they cost you. Every line names the customer, the date and the amount where there is one.

  3. 20 minutes

    The walkthrough

We go down the page together. It starts on time and ends at 20 minutes.

  4. After

    You decide

No three fixable leaks, nothing owed, and you keep the page. Your data is deleted within 30 days of the walkthrough.

The six leaks

1

Overdue invoices

Work you finished and billed, still unpaid past 30 days.

2

Jobs never billed

Finished work with no invoice behind it.

3

Quotes never chased

Quotes that went out and never got a second touch.

4

Last season's customers

People who paid you last year and haven't heard from you this year.

5

Unanswered reviews

Reviews sitting with no reply, where the next customer reads them.

6

Automations not delivering

Reminders and follow-ups your software says it sent, against what actually arrived.

Three promises

The Three-Leak Promise

If the page doesn't show three leaks you can fix in the next 30 days, you don't pay, and you keep the page.

A fixable leak is a named item, with the customer, the date and the dollar amount where it's money, that you can act on within 30 days. For a practice, it can also be a named fee, subscription or bill you can cancel, dispute or renegotiate within 30 days. Anything you dispute doesn't count.

The 20-Minute Promise

The walkthrough starts on time and ends at 20 minutes. If we're not done by then, the rest comes to you in writing.

The No-Changes Promise

I change nothing.

Your data is used for this check only, not shared or sold, except as the law requires, and nobody on my side contacts your customers. It's deleted within 30 days of the walkthrough, confirmed in writing on request.

One price list, nothing up front

Trades shops
$750
or three payments of $250
Dental and chiropractic practices
$1,500
or three payments of $500

The first payment is due at the walkthrough, and only if the page shows three fixable leaks. On the three-payment plan, the next two fall 30 and 60 days later. Same price and terms for every client.

"Is it on?"→ "What did it do?"The question the whole check is built on.

Why I built it

I run a state-licensed retail business here in Las Cruces, on the same kinds of software and automations you do.

I learned to stop asking "is it on?" and start asking "what did it do?" That question is the whole check.

Joaquin Acosta

For dental and chiropractic practices

The same check, on the business side only. I read your merchant (card processing) statements, your bookkeeping reports (a Reports-only QuickBooks login or reports you export, once you confirm in writing that no patient names are in them), your software subscriptions and contracts, and your public front door. The six leaks for a practice:

  • Card processing above a fair rate: the effective rate and the fees on the statement.
  • Software paid for twice or not used.
  • Vendor bill creep and duplicates: supplies, lab, services.
  • Marketing spend with nothing tracked to it.
  • The front door: unanswered reviews, a booking link that doesn't work, calls nobody answers after hours.
  • Automations on but not delivering, checked only from totals you export yourself.
No patient data, ever. Never touched: patient balances, insurance claims, recall lists or the appointment book.
